I knew this is what I wanted to do after taking my first workshop at the Gestalt Institute of Cleveland (GIC) in 2004. I went on to complete three programs at GIC from 2004 to 2008 and Gestalt practice is the foundation of my approach. I use a relational style that is informed by the sensations experienced in your body, in other words, your somatic experience.

My path of learning led to combining a body-centered approach with Buddhist practices and developmental theory. I help people suffering from depression, anxiety, emotional and physical numbness and tightness or blocked energy.

In addition to somatic guidance, I have facilitated a wide range of workshops designed to improve the participants’ quality of life in all domains.

My interest in this type of work originated from my experience of growing up with deaf parents. The effects of how my parents were treated, and how that impacted my relationships with them, gave me a strong interest in emotional healing, for myself and others, and in eliminating oppression in its many forms.
